How a Simple Quiz Confirmed My Leadership Calling (and Showed Me Where I Still Need to Grow)

Updated: May 18

There’s something powerful about clarity, especially when it comes to how you’re called to lead. During a recent content creation meeting (May is all about leadership for us), Megs casually said, “We should offer a leadership style quiz so people can define and refine how they lead.”

I was immediately on board. But we knew we didn’t want to create our own. Why? Because we’re still learning too. So we started looking for something powerful, spirit-led, and practical.

She found it.

And without hesitation, I took it.

Jaw. Dropped.

Just days earlier, during CEO Seek, the Lord had led me to pray about getting back to our assigned seat in leadership. Then along comes this quiz, revealing a visual model of a three-legged stool. Each leg represents a core leadership strength, and it ranks you by percentage.

My strongest leg? Spirituality.

“You are designed by God to communicate the importance of living in the realm of the Spirit. You have a strong instinct to love God. You are committed to deep spiritual transformation that brings about the life-changing work of God in yourself and others. God wants to use you to create a spiritual atmosphere in your relationships and in your church.”

That alone was a word.

My overall leadership style? The Sacred Leader.

Sacred Leaders are known for helping people experience the depths of God. This leadership style reflects how Jesus led, ministered, and trained His disciples. Sacred Leaders are often teachers. They are grounded in truth and sensitive to the spiritual atmosphere around them.

It felt like one confirmation after another.

But here’s the truth. Even what’s strong still needs sharpening. My strongest leg wasn’t at 100 percent, and the quiz offered practical ways for me to grow in three specific areas:

  • Leadership Instinct (the ability to know what to do next)

  • Leadership Fruit (the lasting impact of your leadership)

  • Leadership Multiplication (the ability to build other leaders)

The best part? The quiz didn’t just reveal insights and leave me there. It came with extended resources, including a full profile breakdown, book recommendations, and action steps for each area of growth.

I walked away not just affirmed, but equipped.

And now I want the same for you.

You cannot afford to not know how you lead, or where you need to grow. If you’re ready to gain clarity on your Kingdom leadership style and receive direction for what’s next, take the quiz at joinwmfm.com. Then come back and tell me what you’re made of.

You were built to lead. Now lead like you know it.

Cheers to more,

Dara Adams
